Terms & Conditions:

  1. Office opening hours: Between 10am – 2pm, Tuesday- Wednesday (four - weekly)
  2. Registration: Registration is currently open to anyone within the Bristol and surrounding areas. We offer a FREE collect and drop-off service from our lock-up in Aust on a Wednesday, this is available for everyone to use. On a Tuesday we offer a delivery and pick-up service, however it is only available to families in the BS postcodes. There is a small delivery fee of £10 (£5 each way) for this service.
  3. When you receive your first piece of equipment, we may need to send proof of I.D showing current address (e.g. Driver’s License, Utility Bill, Passport).
  4. We reserve the right to cancel registration to anyone who mistreats the service. For example consistently not being available during pre-arranged delivery and pick-up times, returning equipment late, returning equipment damaged or incomplete. This is at the discretion of Gympanzees.
  5. Delivery charges: Delivery charges will fluctuate depending on the cost to Gympanzees.  This will be reviewed on a monthly basis and we will only charge you the cost of the service to Gympanzees. Where possible we will keep the costs to a minimum through the support of volunteers.  If you or someone you know are experiencing financial hardship, we may be able to waiver the delivery charge. We will need to see proof of your Universal Credit. Please talk to a member of staff if you are unsure.
  6. Please make sure you are at home for your delivery or you have nominated a neighbour. If there is no one at your home, please DO NOT leave equipment in a 'safe place' to be collected. If this is found to be the case, we may not be able to loan to you again. If there is no one at your home, we will be trying calling you. If no answer, we will return the item to our lock-up and your loan will expire. Arrangements can be made to collect it on the Wednesday but your delivery change will not be refunded to you.
  7. Loaning Equipment: Items are booked for a four-week period unless an alternative agreement is made with the member of staff dealing with your booking. Due to current Covid-19 government guidelines, each item is taken out of use for a week to clean and quarantine. This does not affect your four-week loan time.
  8. If an item is already on loan or you would like to reserve it for a specific date, you can do this. Please note, you can only reserve up to three items at a time.
  9. If pieces are missing, they must be returned as soon as they are found. Failure to find and return pieces will render the equipment ‘damaged’ and clause 10 below will apply.
  10. We have insurance to cover all damaged or broken equipment. If something over the cost value of £100 gets damaged or broken, you may be asked to pay the insurance excess fee of £100. All items that are over £100 will be marked £100+ in the description area. If the value of the item is under £100, we ask that you donate towards the repair or replacement of that item.
  11. When in your home the equipment is your responsibility. Please provide supervision where needed and take care not to lose any of the parts that might go with the equipment or kits. It should be ready for collection in a clean and undamaged condition ready for the next borrower.  Any items lost or damaged should be reported to Gympanzees ASAP.
  12. All equipment that requires batteries will be loaned with batteries. However, we cannot guarantee they are fully charged. It will be the responsibility of the member to provide their own batteries should the current ones run out.
  13. Storage Containers: Some of our equipment comes in storage bags or boxes. Equipment should be returned in this bag/box. Missing or damaged bags/boxes may incur a replacement charge.
