Sensory Support Kit (For Schools only)

The Sensory Support Kit is designed to help children in primary schools regulate their emotions, focus their attention, and prepare for learning through simple, movement-based activities.

The box includes carefully chosen equipment divided into three areas of a sensory circuit:

• Alert – to energise and wake up the body (e.g. Spinning seat, bounce cushion, exercise ball).
• Organise – to develop balance, coordination, and body awareness (e.g. balance board, body sock, Twist and Race game).
• Calm – to support relaxation and self-regulation (e.g. weighted blanket, calming pet, resistance activities).

An accompanying booklet provides easy-to-follow activity ideas, classroom strategies, and guidance to help staff use the equipment confidently and flexibly with their pupils.
